DIY: Crayon melting

So this time I finally caved in and decided to give this a shot!

Things needed :

69 crayon box. (Any brand)
A canvas
Glue gun with glue sticks
Blow dryer!

Now the first step is to literally just align the colours above the canvas in the order you want them.

And also draw in pencil if you want any drawing, I'm a bad bad drawer! So I just traced it out and cut out a stencil in the same pattern and outlined it onto the canvas :D

Step 2:
HEAT THAT GLUE GUN!

Start to glue each glue stick into the canvas carefully and properly! This step took me the longest but honestly once you perfect it there's no need to ever go back and fix any loose ones..

A little tip: I only glued half the crayon(length wise) to the canvas and left the upper half hanging to the air .. I did this to make my canvas look longer and so that the crayons didn't take up a big portion.

Step 3:

LET THE FUN BEGIN

before commencing with this step I suggest you leave the canvas for a bit in the upright position to make sure all the crayons are sturdy enough.

now start !! OPEN YOUR BLOWDRYER to maximum heat and power and start to melt . Honestly it's easier done than said I promise!

STEP 4:

Paint your drawing black! You can paint it before but I just did after idk why.

AND YOU'RE DONE. NOW HANG IT AND ENJOY.
