ANOUNCEMENT!!

I am excited to announce that my sister, May,  will start Blogging some posts here with me.

The reason we decided to do this is because we have very different styles and points of view,  and such a spin on things seemed to be more versatile and exciting!

Anticipate "1 item, 2 styles" , "OOTd", "DIY's" and many other series.

Also, she will be moving to the UK really soon, and so she'll have a different spin on things.

We will be posting things from London to Dubai!

Hopefully you'll enjoy this collab, as much as we are excited to have something to work on together!

DIY : Clear Bag

Andddd finally ! Done the clear clutch! I think it's time I had joined the DIY clear pvc clutch wagon , and I finally did !

It took me so long only because the material was so hard to find ! Especially here ah!

But thanks to Simone Heng on cheapnchic.net , I found out the exact store of where to buy the supplies.

Anyways lets dive into the DIY

If you check out cheapnchic.net that's basically where I was inspired to make this and she has an amazing tutorial on it, but I wanted something slightly different , so I combine tutorials and made this :D

Materials :
PVC
Scissors
Magnet snaps
A pen
Ruler
Hammer
Eyelets

For measurements I literally just folded up the pvc and used up what I wanted the bags size to be , I mainly used this as a frame

Then I folded the sheet the way I wanted the bag to look like and cut out the flap and the front, the part that is gonna be the back should have side flaps

The reason I made this bag using one peace is so that it would be more sturdy

Anyways then I folded like this

And placed the eyelets using a hammer to secure them (there's instructions on the pack )

After that I attached the magnet snaps

And finally add the chain! I literally just made a hole on the side

And done !

Oh also cause I have so much PVC I made this cute tiny card holder :)

DIY : Graphic Shirt. CRAZY MOFO.

I've seen so many shirts around that I really had wanted but could never find, so instead of actually going and printing on one for so much money, I decided to paint it ,It was so simple and SO MUCH FUN! here's how !

It's also a great say to spice up an old shirt :D

STEP 1:

Choose the figure/writing you want and either print it out or trace it out !

Then using a cutter CAREFULLY ( and very slowly) cut it out so that you can have stencils made!

Ps: you can just go ahead and buy the stencil you want to use , but I couldn't find any.

STEP 2 :

Place a cardboard in between the back and front of the shirt your using just to stabilise the shirt and so that the paint doesn't pass through.

STEP 3:

Take the stencil you've made and properly stick it on the shirt with tape.

STEP 4:

Start painting! Use acrylic paint or fabric paint. I Did my research on both and everyone has said they're both great. I could find fabric paint , so I used acrylic for this one :)

The method I painted was using Q tips.. I painted in the Center of the letter leaving out the borders for the end , I painted like I was colouring with a pencil colour but gently.

STEP 5:

Colour the borders .

I did this by dabbing on the Q tip , and not colouring . I held down the paper on the side I was painting so that no paint would go out of the letter , and I dabbed to make sure I was careful and on the line.

FINAL STEP:

Then I waited till it dried out. About an hour or so.

After I was sure it was dry I carefully moved the paper and voila!

I suggest you just keep it another few hours before wearing it though!

Get creative and enjoy this DIY :D
