Bag Collection ; Summer Crossbody's

Out of all the bag styles I've tried, i think cross body bags are definitely on my top favourites list.

Especially for spring/summer! they're just so much more convenient to carry around, plus they look so effortless and cute.

So here are my favourites :

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac.

i love what a pop of colour this bag is. its 100% my go to bag this summer.

all my clothes are more or less neutral colours, so literally just adding this bag onto my outfit makes it so summer ready. i love it so much!

Studded crossbody from Forever 21 

I know, who is crazy enough to own 2 of the same bag?

well , heres the thing, i first bought the black one for mai , and i loved it so much (she was leaving the country)i bought the white one because they didnt have black.

On her recent trip back, because she knows how much i love the black one, she left it for me to use .

Satchel Crossbody, forever 21.

My little sister got me this bag for my birthday . 

i love this one when I'm feeling preppy. 

as well as when i need my iPad with me, it fits inside so nicely with so much room left.

Mint Green cross body, Mango.

I got this bag last summer, and honestly , despite wearing it soooo much, i will certainly keep wearing this one this year. 

Mint Green is just so lovely.

Gold/Silver Crossbody, Free from Maybelline.

I like this bag for those night outs , it matches everything and i feel like its quite summery.

I'm not a fan of metallics but this one is a good clutch !

Shirt from Pull & Bear

I know its not exactly a massive purchase, but its so soft and light weight,  i love it so much for the summer with some jeggings.

also, I've never owned anything with a picture printed on it , so this is quite different.

Oldest item in your closet: 

Black converse i purchased in my visit to london in 2011!

i still wear them almost daily though and i love them!

Most Expensive item in your closet:

this CH bag is certainly the most expensive item i have in my closet.

i got this as a graduation gift from my dad a few years ago, and I'm happy to say it still looks like its in perfect condition. i don't wear this one too often (in fear of ruining it) but it definitely is a unique/different looking bag and the fact i can wear it in 2 ways, so beautiful! 

Cheapest/Most affordable item in your closet (that you were so much)

i wear those tank tops from forever 21, everyday of my life.

I'm one of those people that just can't wear a shirt without a lightweight tank underneath..

my stomach always gets too cold! haha

they're so comfy though. and i would totally recommend them to anyone looking for cheap but good tanks!

Best bargain in your closet :

It was so hard for me to think of my best bargain but i think this is it.

I got this bag for about 50-75% off from Charles and Keith, last year.

I love charles and keith, and every time they're on sale, i can't help but buy me a cheeky little purchase.

their bags are so durable, and so cute! and when they're on sale. i can't resist.

it folds in , and can also be worn on the shoulder, and with the 2 zippers on top, it really gives that prada-ish bag feel.

Biggest waste of money in your closet:

As much as i looovvveee these boots, it was such a waste of money, considering I've literally only ever worn them once. 

also , i feel like they're a bit too edgy for me now , but i think they'd be pulled off with the right outfits..

sadly i forgot i lived in the hottest climate ever when i bought these!

Bonus Question ; 3 Favourite items right now:

Im currently loving those 3 items.

This mango white shirt, fits so loosely and nice, and the fact that the material is of that sheer silky type, it can dress up any outfit with a simple statement necklece and look like you've put in effort.

 American Eagle jeggings.

seriously, if you've not tried jeggings from American Eagle, then i seriously recommend you try a pair! they're wayyyy too comfy! and look like proper jeans.

i've never been into those nature valley bars cause they're so hard! but i found out they made a chewy version and this one tastes SOOO good!

Lush Haul ♡

Over the past few months, i've accumulated some lush products (plus what my siblings got me as gifts a few weeks ago)

Review ; Maybelline BB cream & FIT Concealer. ♡

There was so much hype going around about the Maybelline BB cream, so finally , i decided to give it a go, along with the new concealer.

I was mostly drawn into buying this BB cream, as an alternative to my benefit tinted moisturiser i reviewed here, because 

A. A LOT cheaper

&

B. it had some benefits i liked..

The BB cream, claims to :

1. Create a natural glow

It certainly did not give me a natural glow, more than anything i felt like it made me look powdery..

2. Compliment skin tone

it made me look lighter, and yes i made sure this is my shade..

3.SPF 30 UV protection

i guess it does have that advantage.

4.Hydrates all day

Didn't at all feel like it gave me that feeling, i felt like it was so dry!

5.Blurs imperfections

Not really..

6. Oil-free,Non-greasy

i think it did this one quite well..

7. Looks visibly smooth

not really.. it looked powdery on me

8. Feels fresh

not at all.. i couldn't wait till i got it off, it felt so suffocating.

honestly, i wore this product 4 times to give it chances to impress, but after that now I'm sure i will never wear it again. thank god it was not that expensive, so i don't feel super bad. 

Ive heard rimmel has a BB cream too, so maybe ill give that a go, but for now I'm sticking to my tinted moisturiser by Benefit, because it literally feels amazing!

Another thing i bought was the FIT concealer, and To be honest, 

i love this one.

 I used to user Rimmel's match perfect concealer, but this one is so much nicer, 

blends so easily, 

feels so smooth, 

and doesn't at all crease in the under eye. 

it also lasts quite a while, and a small bit goes all the way. 

i would totally buy it again for sure!

I was also lucky that day, as maybelline had a "buy 3 get a free bag" offer.. i thought they'd give me one of those makeup bags, so i bought a baby lips chapstick (it was the cheapest) , and was actually surprised i got given such a pretty rosegold-silver cross body bag.

its so cute and perfect for summer.. I'm actually impressed maybelline.

PS: Just because the BB cream failed me, doesn't mean I'm not a fan of maybelline anymore. i love them.. its just this one product failed me..

What's in my bag & Review ; Longchamp Le Pliage

Hello lovelies, 

i know i've been away from blogging lately, forgive me.

I have been looking for a good enough bag for university , for so long ,and after reading endless reviews on this one, i decided i would finally take that plunge.

what i actually keep inside everyday:

(keep in mind i moved everything from their pouches just so you can see, if you want me to do a how i organise a huge tote , let me know :) )

It's definitely a versatile one, i love it so much and honestly its insane how big it is! (its the large with long handles)

I can fit my 13' macbook pro without any hassle plus some A4 sized notebooks/books to go along.

My main concern about the bag was, are the straps going to snap off if i put too much weight inside?

rest assured , from my 2 weeks of experience with this baby and my laptop... its doing brilliant so far.

it doesn't even leave any marks or anything. 

I do however feel like its sometimes TOO big , especially when i just feel like carrying it to the mall ..

those are the days i question if getting the medium sized one would have been a better choice. let me know what you think?

I'm happy with this one.. when i weighed out its advantages over the medium , i found that

1. you can use it for more stuff (travel, beach,college)

2. you can basically fit your life in it! (gym clothes & school books)

3. if i got the medium and put everything minus books in it, it would probably look overstuffed.

All this being said though, this is my first ever long champ.. and i think i already know i will probably invest in more. i know its nylon but its just so nice to carry i love love love itttttt

also, i would PROBABLY go for a medium (considering i have a large) idk yet though. we shall see!

Everyday Natural Makeup look

So, i'm kind of known for keeping my makeup SUPER simple..

especially, with the fact that I've only properly started with makeup a few months ago

and thats why, i like to keep it SUPER NATURAL looking! i hate looking like i have anything on!

I love those 2 lipstick shades so much, because they don't make me look like i have anything on, like the colours are so close to my lips, it kind of just makes my lips look a little redder and healthier, with a shine, but without making it seem like i have anything on.. i love lipsticks in natural to my lip colour shades.

YSL rouge pur couture 9' "305" 

They both feel kind of the same, but i think i prefer the mac one, it has a yummier smell!

On some days, i like to just have a lip balm, so these are my favourite!
